Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

A note before you read this: This is a starting template written for a mental health consultation practice, and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before it's treated as your final, binding terms.

1. Agreement to terms

By using this website or booking a consultation through it, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of them, please contact us before booking so we can address your concerns.

2. This website is not an emergency service

Altheon Avenir provides scheduled consultation services. This website and its booking form are not monitored around the clock and are not designed for emergencies. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical attention, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital. Do not wait for a scheduled appointment.

3. Booking and appointments

Submitting the booking form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We will contact you to confirm your session time, format, and any details specific to your clinician. Please arrive on time; late arrivals may need to be rescheduled to protect the time set aside for other clients.

4. Cancellations

We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as early as possible — ideally at least 24 hours in advance — so the slot can be offered to someone else. Repeated late cancellations may affect future scheduling priority.

5. No doctor-patient relationship from browsing alone

Reading this website, our resources, or blog articles does not create a therapist-client or doctor-patient relationship. That relationship begins only once a consultation is booked, confirmed, and conducted with one of our clinical service.

6. Fees and payment

Consultation fees, accepted payment methods, and any deposit requirements will be shared with you directly when your appointment is confirmed. Fee information is not currently published on this website and is subject to change.

7. Intellectual property

The content on this website — including text, the Altheon Avenir name, and logo — belongs to Altheon Avenir and may not be copied or reused without permission.

8. Limitation of liability

While we aim to keep the information on this website accurate and useful, our blog and resource content is educational in nature and is not a substitute for personalised clinical advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altheon Avenir is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of website content, as opposed to an actual consultation with one of our clinical service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of this website or our services after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.

11. Contact us

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@altheonavenir.com or through our Contact page.
